Broom making workshop - Feburary 20th

Gather at a tucked away workshop, where we will embrace the coming Spring and learn the art of traditional besom making. 

Each broom will be unique, with a variety of handles, charms and decorative embellishments that you can fully customise to your taste. 

Come and learn an ancient endangered art form, this workshop will be full of spirit and practical beauty.

The flow of the day:

1. Select your favourite handle, with input from the tutor about the symbolism and folk law of each wood available.
2. Choose your flowers and charms. 
3. be guided through each step to assemble your broom.
4. decorate! 

Workshop starts: 12pm

Workshops ends: 4pm
